Sharps Carbine from John Brown's Raid

From 2014-2018, I was the Firearms Specialist for the NRA Museums. This was filmed while I worked in that capacity.

From the NRA National Firearms Museum in Fairfax, Virginia, Firearms Specialist Logan Metesh examines a Sharps “slant breech” carbine used by John Brown's men during his 1859 raid on the U.S. Armory at Harpers Ferry, (West) Virginia. Originally aired on Cam & Co "Curator's Corner" on 07/09/15.
