Congressional Combat: Cilley-Graves Duel

This is the story of two representatives, Jonathan Cilley of Maine and William Graves of Kentucky, were actually driven to a duel in 1838. The result was the death of a sitting member of Congress at the hands of another fellow sitting member - the first and only time such a thing has happened.
Ironically, the two representatives had no issue with one another when the whole matter began, so how did this happen?
